Taillight Interface Module - Ford PIU

The Taillight Interface Module is designed for applications in the 2025+ Ford Police Interceptor Utility (PIU) that activate the taillights via the upfitter connector C4144 referred to on page 28 of the OEM modifier guide. Aftermarket electronics are susceptible to damage or malfunction due to back feed current from the vehicle when directly connected to C4144. The module protects a siren, flasher, or other equipment powering the taillights.

With FasTech The module is designed for plug-and-play integration with the FasTech harness system. Our current primary harnesses include mating connectors for the taillight interface module near the rear driver side end of the harness.

Without FasTech Use the female mating connector Molex MX-150 with keying option “A” (reference part number 33471-0401 which may be superseded).

If also installing Patrol Power PIU20-EQUIP-KIT1, we suggest mounting the module to the equipment plate as shown in the photo gallery. This module has the same footprint as COVERTPATROLMOD2 and uses the same mounting location. We recommend, and our upfits virtually all use, either this module or Covert Patrol.
