Main Features Overview

We made FasTech to help upfitters, but it also has to support user requirements like any other harness. These are the main feature options of the harness system.

Some features are only applicable to either trucks or to SUVs, and some features may be mutually exclusive e.g., interior and exterior lightbars. This list represents the central featureset of available options across vehicles.

Lightbars

Any WeCanX Exterior Roof Lightbar (Justice, Edge 9X, Liberty II, Legacy, Freedom IV or Freedom V)
Any WeCanX Front Interior Inner Edge FST (Typically installed in place of rooftop lightbar)
Any WeCanX Rear Interior Inner Edge RST
Driver and Passenger Tracer TCRWX* running board lights
Front mounted Tracer light can be installed in place of optional Underhood expansion module #2
Rear mounted Tracer light can be installed in place of optional rear expansion module #5

Perimeter Lighting

Up to (4) TRIO front bumper lights, push bumper or grille/fascia-mounted. Includes a 16-conductor quick disconnect. Installer can connect up to 2 light heads on each output for a total of 8 TRI lightheads. FasTech provides 12 independent outputs and 4 ground circuits.
Support for DUO Vertex UC LEDs in the headlights (only recommended for Ford PIU with OEM twist lock provisions)
Wig-Wag Headlight flasher. OEM activation and/or External flasher support
Front fender TRIO LEDs
Side-mirror LEDs (TRIO lighthead or flash OEM where applicable)
Running boards. Supports WeCanX Tracers or TRIO lightheads with 12V triggers
Rear quarter window LEDs (SUVs) or bed side LEDs (trucks), TRIO lighthead support
License plate LEDs (SUVs) or Rear Tailgate (trucks), TRIO lighthead support
Hatch open LEDs, DUO lighthead support
Spoiler LEDs, TRIO lighthead support

Underhood

Perimeter lighting as stated
Siren Speakers:
- Up to 2 SA315P speakers connected to C399
- Up to 2 (SA315P or HOWLER) speakers connected to CEXAMP or CHOWLER
Core Expansion Modules:
- Underhood #1: CEM24 (Required, includes 2 unassigned spares). Refer to Patrol Power’s Core Expansion Module bracket option for vehicle specific mounting options.
- Underhood #2: Optional CEM16, CEM24, CEM4HC (or Tracer). FasTech harness supports power inputs and CAN connection. Installer to fabricate output harness to meet their specific requirements.
Support for Driver and Passenger Arges spotlights
Firewall grommet built into harness
Quick disconnect between Primary cabin harness and Underhood harness for simplified installation and service
Includes pigtail connections with Molex MX150 quick disconnect for:
- Push Bumper (48" length)
- Primary Speakers (24" length)
- Secondary Speakers (low or high frequency) (96" length)
- Driver Fender LEDs (24" length)
- Passenger Fender LEDs (24" length)
- Driver Arges (24" length)
- Passenger Arges (24" length)

Interior Lighting

Officer/driver overhead dome light
Second row/prisoner/K-9 overhead dome light, 2-color with console mounted switches (mappable in Core)
Liftgate cargo dome light (includes pigtail connector with quick disconnect for SUV trim panel mount)

Radios

10 AWG support for two radio transceivers (remote mount and console mount)
Wiring support for radio heads including constant power, timed turn-on and ground
Turn on power provided at rear remote radio (Kenwood)
Console & overhead/headliner radio speaker support
Optional 8 AWG wiring kit with integrated cartridge fuse available to support high powered / multi radios

Harness requires (3) CEM Expansion modules, but supports up to 5 modules.

- (Required) Console #3: CEM24 (includes 9 unassigned spares).
- (Required) Rear #4: CEM24 (includes 7 unassigned spares). Rear expansion modules will be installed in the liftgate on SUV applications and/or behind the driver’s taillight on truck applications. Refer to Patrol Power’s Core Expansion Module bracket option for vehicle specific mounting options.
- (Optional) Rear #5: CEM16, CEM24, CEM4HC or Tracer.
